30 Days to Better Habits – My Journey
It’s okay to want more from life and be dissatisfied with your current situation. As long as you’re not walking around in a perpetual pity party, wanting more can indicate a need for growth. In fact, I found myself in a situation this past fall where I was dissatisfied. My body was not nearly in the shape I wanted it to be in and there were other aspects of my life that needed change.
The Power of Gratitude
You’ll find several books on gratitude in the “Personal Development” sections of most bookstores. There’s a reason for that – gratitude works. If you wake up every day and feel miserable, you’re probably going to have a miserable day. Now, waking up each day feeling grateful for all the good things in your life won’t guarantee that you’ll have a great day. But at least you’ll start out on the right foot.
