I haven’t seen the movie (and I don’t know if I’ll catch it in the theaters) but the marketing of the movie has created a significant amount of buzz. The movie appears to be a cross between Godzilla and the Blair Witch Project. A monster attacks New York City and the audience follows the story via cell-phone video cameras, news programs and other non-traditional filming techniques.
The big mystery prior to the film being released this past weekend was the story itself. Now the big mystery is the monster. Here’s a clip from the trailer that reveals part of the monster.
