I’ve heard the phrase “Life is Too Short” a number of times throughout the years. Sometimes it refers to a person’s reaction to someone else’s behavior (Life is too short to hate your sister) and other times it’s just a general statement (Life is too short – there’s so much to do). The other day, I was thinking about some of these phrases I’ve heard as well some that I’ve thought to myself and thought it would be a good topic for a post. So here’s some that I’d like to share:
- Life is too short to hate your life.
- Life is too short to hold a grudge for a decade.
- Life is too short to spend your life in a cubicle hoping you’ve kissed enough butt to get a promotion.
- Life is too short to not give love a chance.
- Life to too short to pass up an opportunity of a lifetime.
- Life is too short to pass by a perfectly good sprinkler on a hot summer day and not run through it.
- Life is too short to give up.
- Life is too short to let your kids grow up while you slave away in the office.
- Life is too short to not keep in touch with old friends.
- Life is too short to not catch-up with a friend or relative that lives far away but is in town for the weekend.
- Life is too short to not take risks.
- Life is too short to sleep 10 hours per day.
- Life is too short to kill time.
- Life is too short to not live every day to its fullest.
- Life is too short to not tell someone you love them.
- Life is too short to lose sight of your dreams.
- Life is too short to not try something new.
- Life is too short to not get out there and see the world.
- Life is too short to pass up a good joke.
- Life is too short to wish you were older.
- Life is too short to not introduce yourself to someone that seems interesting.
- Life is too short to wake up unhappy every day.
- Life is too short to procrastinate.
- Life is too short to not discover natural beauty.
- Life is too short to not laugh or have fun whenever you can.
- Life is too short to miss a chance to spend time with someone you love.
- Life is too short to make mountains out of molehills.
- Life is too short to live in fear.
- Life is too short to not travel.
- Life is too short to waste time.
- Life is too short to allow fear of rejection to deter you from doing something.
- Life is too short to not have goals.
- Life is too short to let others bring you down.
- Life is too short to not be the best you can be.
- Life is too short to park yourself in front of the computer or TV all day.
- Life is too short to be serious all the time.
- Life is too short to give up a chance to hang out with friends.
- Life is too short to wish you were someone else.
- Life is too short to not turn your dreams into action.
