Did you catch the pageant winner Kristen Dalton’s answer to her question? She was asked, essentially, “Should taxpayer money go to private company bailouts?” Miss USA 2009′s answer was, cutting out all the uhs and you knows, “Taxpayer money should not be given to companies,” “but instead should be spent on making education better and welfare and health care.”

OK, I’m not expecting brilliance from them, but what an ignorant thing to say!

I barely listened to Prejean’s “people can choose the same sex or the opposite” figuring it would be PC rubbish. When she then added her own opinion my ears pricked up. Uh oh. I watched Perez Hilton start to roll his eyes as the camera cut away from him. I knew she had just thrown away the pageant.

Look, the selection of judges was strange at BEST. I thought all of the questions were inappropriate for such a pageant. In the end, this is Trump’s pageant and I’ll bet he wasn’t amused.

It was very, very appropriate and spontaneous. Why must a majority succumb to the twisted wishes of a very small minority? They just do not get it… being gay although a fact of life that must be accepted though not condoned, cannot be imposed and accepted forcefully.

No, I think she was really brave to stand up for what she believes!!! She is a really miss university and not a sold out girl.
I am disapointed with the jury, once they made clear that we cannot have any opinion other then theirs.

If the gay community wants to be respected they cannot shut everybody month. This is not democracy!!!!!
