when it comes to “public speaking”
I feel very very nervous, no ideas,frighten n so on.
I do love to speak but I`m afraid of the audience….My last time on stage was when i was in form 5, about 4 years ago.

Fully agree with your post, James.

I had a friend who had great contents but when he present, he’s boring! He never engage the audience by connecting with them such as asking them questions frequently…

My take is that the way we present the information is more important than the information itself. Let me put it this way, if I just want information, I might as well search the Net or read a book.

However, in a live presentation, the speaker can actually explain things through great body language and illustrate their points through relevant examples.

On the point of nervousness, I used to be a nervous freak too till I shifted my attention to the audience. By focusing on how I can help them, I have overcome stage fright finally. It’s great to have done that!
